1st February 2016 | York
New Year, New Start… Welcome to the member's newsletter to all our new starters in 2016 and a warm welcome back to all our dedicated members from 2015.
We have some great things going on in the club and it’s lovely to see you all participating and looking like you are having fun! I am hearing some great things when I'm walking around… the classes are getting some great feedback; returning Zumba classes, new classes such as weights for women, and the favourites from last year; Pure Stretch & Body Pump! It’s also great to see so many of you wearing your ‘Make it Happen’ wristbands and for the rest of you remember, it's not too late to collect your 8 stamps and receive yours too. As 2016 starts to take shape I'm excited to see lots of staff and member events happening such as the ‘Dirty Weekend’ event and rumour reaches me about a ‘Pretty Mudder’ happening in support of breast cancer awareness which is a fab cause.
This promises to be a great year and we look forward to seeing more of you in the club enjoying the activities than ever.
Gary Jepson, General Manager

This is a great time of year to try new classes and fall in love with fitness! There is a real buzz around the gym and fitness classes at the moment and we want you to get the best experience every time you attend the club.
All we ask is for all members book on to every class you would like to take part in and cancel if you cannot attend. The process is very quick & easy. You can call to book or you can do it at reception. We ask that you cancel your place if you are unable to attend, because this time of year most classes have people on the waiting list. If you do not cancel and the person on the waiting list does not attend then a place has gone to waste in the class.
NEW BODY ATTACK Instructor
You think you know Body Attack? Well think again- New Year, new program with the focus being on fast results. Thomas is fun with a capital F; he will make your hour with him pass in a flash. His enthusiasm for the program is infectious and we promise you will be hooked. Come and try the new Body Attack classes, don't be intimidated by the full hour, you can do half an hour to start with and we guarantee you'll be back for the full hour before you know it. Thomas’ attack classes are Tuesday 6-7pm & Friday 6-7pm.
