Chiswick Newsletter November 2019

6th November 2019 | Chiswick

Manager’s Welcome

I hope everybody is well, and if you did head elsewhere for the October half term, that you enjoyed your time away!

We are busy behind the scenes getting ready for the second phase of the brand new Matrix kit. We have now confirmed that installation will take place in the first half of December – and we are genuinely so excited to show you the new kit and what it can do. This fully integrated system will absolutely transform your workouts, in addition to providing guidance, inspiration, and a place to record your achievements! Keep your eyes peeled for more information.

Based on member feedback, we are continuing to expand our Group Exercise timetable. We are adding another spin class, immediately after the existing one on a Tuesday morning, and from January, will add another stretch class. We are also introducing Ballet Jazz, and several other classes that will not be on the timetable, but will be run by instructors separately – please see in club communication for more details.

We are, unfortunately, experiencing a high volume of classes booked, but then not attended or cancelled. Please may I ask that if you book a class, and are not able to attend, that you cancel either via the app, or at the front desk? This will free up the space for someone else – please see later on in the newsletter for more improvements on our booking system. Please do consider your fellow members when booking classes – we are working to ensure everybody can attend the classes they wish, which will be much easier with everybody’s cooperation.

I did put this in my note last month, however sadly we have not seen a great improvement. Please may I ask that you ensure that if you do use a towel, it is placed in the towel bin before you leave? Since changing to a more eco-friendly company in March, we have lost a huge amount of towels, so your assistance in keeping this number down would be greatly appreciated. As always, please consider the number of towels you use on each visit, thank you.

Thank you also for all the feedback coming through on our online member survey. Don’t worry if you haven’t had yours yet – a specific number are sent at a time until they have reached everybody. If you do have any comments or suggestions in the meantime, there is no need to wait for the survey! I am usually in and around the club so do feel free to stop me for a chat, or pop me an email at: kmeagher@chiswickbridge.roko.co.uk

I look forward to seeing many of you in club again soon.

Kind regards,

Kati Meagher & Your Roko Team

app improvements to class waiting lists

Great news - when you use the app to book classes, we have added an automatic online booking function to our waiting list emails!

When a class becomes available that you are on the waiting list for, you can now simply click the "book now" button on the waiting list alert email and it will automatically book you onto that class if there is still availability.

We hope you find this new functionality helpful.
