I hope to have surprised a few people with a different take on things, I even taught the Easter Monday spin class! Yes I am new to Roko but come from a significant background in health and fitness. I still keep my hand in by teaching regular classes and train myself as a competitive athlete.

Firstly I would like to start by saying a big thank you to all those members who have taken the time to personally feedback their experiences of membership at Roko since I joined the club in November. I believe we are truly creating a listening culture and acting swiftly on the points raised. from the recent forums we have added equipment, began upgrading and decorating the club and improved cleaning standards throughout the club.

We are now well into the stride of 2016 and time is passing by at a frightening rate. It is easy to keep putting off positive changes, particularly when we are already busy. Have you found the measure of your workout? Time and time again members start a program with good intentions but because their challenge level isn’t set right they either feel sore and exhausted afterwards or find it too easy and don’t see results. The key is to tinker with your program to get the most out of it. This is where our fitness instructors can really help.
