Darin Melville

During my time as a personal trainer I have trained a broad spectrum of clients ranging from teenagers to retirees (60+) with much success!
I have been a member of the ROKO team since the club first opened in 2001. You may recognise me from various circuits, aqua, bodyblast and LIVESTONG ICE classes and of course from working the gym floor.
Whatever your age, gender, experience or ability I will assist you to achieve your next goal.


Andy Hillman

To me, fitness is a state of mind, how you think, how you approach life, a mental attitude. Exercise is such a fantastic way to challenge yourself and change your life, and live the way you want to live. After all, you only get one shot at it.

Sharna Fitzgerald

I love to combine fitness with fun; it keeps you enthusiastic and dedicated to making these all-important changes.
Whether your goal is to improve your inner-core, increase your fitness or train for a specific sport. I will motivate, guide and push you to that goal.
I am a firm believer of change and feel that different surroundings really help to keep you focused. Whether it’s the great outdoors or the atmosphere in the gym, I like to use all areas. I will help you remould your lifestyle, make you feel more confident about yourself & love what you see in the mirror.


Antony Pink

With my 20+ years training experience and 6 years of being a Personal Trainer, I have used a wide range of equipment and training techniques and I’m always keeping up to date with the latest technology and training methods, which include functional training, kettle bells and new for 2011...ViPR. I’m the only Instructor qualified in ViPR (”the Swiss Army knife of exercise tools”), which can burn up to 300kcals in 12mins!
I have a client base from Portsmouth to the New Forest and help men and woman of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals whether it’s dropping dress sizes, reducing body fat, increasing muscle mass, improving core stability, getting fitter, sports specific training, managing stress levels or gaining confidence.


Rob Cooper

Everyone is different, everyone has personal goals which once achieved can change your life. Having a personal trainer is a way of creating a program that is unique and specific to you. Using various methods, breaking it down to the fundamentals of training and using your body composition results I can tailor a program designed to achieve your goals. Charlotte Northam

I have a lot of passion and love for fitness as I have worked hard to get where I want to be both physically and academically. For the past three years I have studied at South Downs College completing levels both 1 and 2 in exercise and fitness, moving on to a level 3 diploma in Sport Massage and Anatomy and Physiology. I began to really get my mind and body into fitness on the level 2, exercise and fitness course this is where I began to train my body and mind in fitness. The level 3 diplomas have really helped me learn about the biomechanics of the body and how to use this for exercise, it fascinated me and made me want to move on so something bigger and better!!

I have been a member of Roko since it first opened in December 2001. My lifestyle has been transformed over this period of time, and has enabled me to realise many personal achievements that I would never have previously thought possible. My passion for health & fitness inspired me to go into Personal training & gym instruction. I have found that working with someone on a one to one basis is an extremely effective way of helping with their motivation and introducing them to new and more interesting ways of exercising.
