Roko Personal Trainers are friendly and approachable but the most important decision is choosing the best one for you. Dan Thorpe
Dan has been involved with several sports since a young age, he is currently in his second season of football management and coaching of his local football side, Dan is extremely likeable and always empathetic to his clients.
Using an understanding and structured style so his clients make fast improvements.
Dan is currently studying for a degree in strength and conditioning science at Coventry University.

Scott McNeill
Scott’s sporting career has been spent playing many different sports at various levels. He has represented England in basketball, played for Nottingham Forest Academy, played for Nottinghamshire in tennis and also umpired professionally at the Wimbledon Championships. Finally he has represented Nottinghamshire, playing for the cricket 2nd XI.
Scott gives everything to his training and gives that positive effect onto others. He is a fun but serious trainer who gets great pleasure in seeing clients achieve their goals. Scott also has a positive outlook on life and is confident that he can help make people’s goals become reality.

Paul Widdowson
In 2003, after 20 years gaining valuable experience training himself, Paul decided to pursue personal training as a career. Blessed with an energetic nature, Paul is able to relate to clients young and old and provide unique and rewarding training sessions.
Paul has worked with competitive sportsmen (rugby, hockey and Karate), people preparing to pass vocational fitness testing (Army, police and Fire services) and actress Claire Sweeney, when working commitments brought her to Nottingham.
Paul is ideally suited to helping his clients train around a busy schedule and able to suggest time management strategies.

Lee Cooper
Lee has been in the fitness industry since 2002. He is a very experienced and highly qualified Personal Trainer and works very closely with all his clients to ensure they achieve their full potential.
Lee is a trainer of trainers, having taught hundreds of aspiring Personal Trainers and has delivered over 8,000 hours of PT.
His focus towards maximising his clients results in the shortest time possible makes Lee a very sought after Pesonal Trainer.

Phil Hopkinson
Sport has been the biggest influence in Phil’s life since a very young age playing a variety of sports at decent levels. So when the chance came along to help train other people and bring them success, he realised that’s what he wanted to do in life. Phil has played football to a high standard since the age of 10yrs old . He spent 6 months on trial at Leicester City FC, and currently playing semi-professional for Dunkirk FC.
Phil is a fresh, young, hard working trainer who loves to help people achieve their personal targets. He does not believe in failure and does everything in his power to bring success into peoples lives. He is a fun, friendly character and loves to build a good rapport with his clients. Phil uses the best techniques learnt from his own experiences and specialises in Sport Specific Training.

Kortney Adams
Prior to choosing a career in the fitness industry Kortney played football for various teams including representing Nottinghamshire.
Playing football at this level lead to the next chapter in his life, a career in the fitness industry.

Jackie Cunningham
Jackie has worked within the fitness industry since 1999, firstly working as a studio instructor and subsequently progressing to personal training. Jackie’s background in class instruction has seen her teach aerobics, BTT, Studio cycling, BodyAttack and BodyBalance. Her pedigree was recognised when she was asked to present an online exercise tutorial for slimming.com
Jackie specialises in Ante and Postnatal exercise. Jackie felt the benefits of safe and effective exercise during her pregnancies and passes this experience onto those in her care. Her sessions give her clients confidence and assurance during their pregnancy and prepare them for a shift return to exercise once their baby is delivered.

Jess Bennett
Having had moved careers into the fitness industry Jess has quickly established herself as a very hardworking and motivating fitness professional. She has taught Kung-fu and now teaches Body Pump and Body Balance. Her specialities include core strength and balance and she is a sports massage therapist.

Katherine Meehan
Katherine loves the buzz of any type of exercise her passion being playing football and also managing a girl’s football team in her spare time. She also enjoys training for long distance running but loves all types of sport. Katherine is a lively person who loves working with all types of people helping to motivate and change lifestyles.
When training with Katherine she will expect commitment in return for great results, she promises to make the sessions hard but effective to your personal goals and of course lots of fun! Sessions will be filled with a mix of cardio, strength, flexibility, core work, boxing and lots more!
