Nadia wanted to improve her running; "In the past I had done a bit of running but didn’t seem to be improving at all. I wanted to work on other areas of my body in order to become a better runner. Together my trainer and I worked on my upper and lower body strength as well as my core stability. Alongside this I started speed interval sessions to improve my speed, along with other cardio exercises to improve my fitness.

When I first joined Roko I built up the confidence to enter some local races up to 10km. Less than 12 months later I had completed my first half marathon in 1 hour and 48 minutes. 4 months later I ran another half marathon and shaved 9 minutes off that time.

I am now very passionate about my running and my next challenge is a full marathon. I know for a fact that without Roko I wouldn’t be at the fitness level I am today. I suppose the added bonus is I have also lost over 2 stone in the process!"
