Each Roko offers over 60 group exercise classes per week, ranging form high energy cardio workouts to relaxing mind & body sessions focusing on strength and flexibility. Every level is catered for and members attending our classes just keep coming back week after week!
Here is just a sample of the classes we offer:
- Zumba® - Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That’s exactly what the Zumba® program is all about. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party™ that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health.
- BodyPUMP - the ultimate resistance training programme to powerful, motivating music. Focusing on high repetitions to speed up metabolism for rapid fat burning and to increase strength/tone in all muscle groups. An absolute must for all abilities and both men and women!
- BodyCOMBAT - it's knockout! A combination of kicks, punches and stances developed from a range of self defence disciplines including Karate, Kickboxing, Tai Chi and Tae kwondo. A fantastic workout for the entire body providing an exhilarating exercise experience that delivers ultra fast fitness results.. All levels of fitness welcome.
- BodyATTACK - simply the ultimate cardiovascular challenge, encouraging you to reach the limits of your endurance. Using simple high-energy moves provides a platform for achieving your highest level of fitness. It’s simple, it’s effective, guaranteed to increase your fitness levels! Your instructor will offer low, medium and high impact alternatives, so this class is suitable for all fitness levels and provides a clear progression for your fitness.
- BodyBALANCE - suitable for all levels, BodyBALANCE combines Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi moves into a workout that will leave you feeling long, strong, centred and calm. A fitness class to enhance both your physical and mental well-being.
- AQUA - an impact free session to music, taking place in the pool. It provides strength & cardiovascular training using water as resistance. Non-swimmers are welcome and this class is ideal for those pregnant or recovering from injury.
- GROUP INDOOR CYCLING - join us for the ride of your life! Watch your fitness levels soar as we take you through varying, challenging terrains in this instructor-led, non impact cardiovascular class on a stationary cycle.
- YOGA - this ancient art form focuses on flexibility, balance & inner poise. Gently move from one pose to another as you feel your body lengthen from within as you gain relief from stress and improved concentration.
- PILATES - a mind/body approach to stretching and aligning the body, also focusesing greatly on strengthening abdominal and back stabilising muscles creating stronger back and better posture.
- SWISS BALL - a safe, effective class focusing on “inner core strength” as you condition the rest of the body. Use the Swiss Ball in different ways to achieve results in strength & body shaping.
- LBT (legs, bums and tums) - this is a high/low aerobic workout concentrating on lower body conditioning exercises. Targeting those stubborn areas from the waist down there is no high impact or choreography to consider, just pure toning!
- CIRCUIT TRAINING - A station based class incorporating both cardio and strength exercises. No fancy footwork - just pure sweat! Suitable for all fitness levels.
