Whether you want to learn to swim or improve your stroke  Roko offers a variety of lessons.

We offer  adult and  junior one-to-one and group sessions as well as Parent & Toddler classes. Using the ASA National Teaching plan, Roko caters  for beginners, improvers and advanced swimmers and with group sessions starting from just £4.00 they’re great value.

Starting with The Duckling Awards, designed to help babies and toddlers explore and enjoy the fun of learning to swim, The National Teaching Plan  continues by taking swimmers through fundamental movement skills, stages 1-7.

Due to demand from members who would like non-member family and friends to accompany them, we are pleased to announce that non-members can now go through the Roko Swimming Lesson Programme. The entry point for non-members is only at parent and baby/toddler; non-members cannot enter the programme at any other level, but once they have started at parent and baby/toddler they can progress through the levels.

Non-member price for parent and baby/toddler is £50 per 10 week course. Parent & Toddler Lessons cost £4.00 per lesson for members.

Child Group Lessons:

  • £6.00 per lesson -  where both parent & child are members
  • £6.50 per lesson -  where only the parent is a Roko member
  • £7.00 per lesson -  where both parent & child  are non-members

Group lessons are booked and paid for in advance on a course basis and priority booking is given to previous attendees first. Course lengths are usually 10 weeks .

If you are interested in Children’s Group Swimming Lessons or Parent & Toddler Lessons please ask at reception, your child’s name will be added to the waiting list & you will be contacted as soon as a place becomes available.

1-to-1 lessons

Regular 1-to-1 or 2-to-1 weekly lessons can be booked up to 10 weeks in advance.Your individual instructor will agree & book your lessons & you will be given a direct contact number for your instructor . Payment is due in advance of each lesson.

  • 1-to-1 Lessons  -  £14.50 per 1/2 hour
  • 2-to-1 Lessons  -  £22.50 per 1/2 hour (£11.25 each)

Adult 1-to-1 & 2-to-1 lessons are available at any time, subject to instructor availability . Children’s 1-to-1 lessons can only be booked during children’s swimming times and are subject to instructor availability.
